Patrick Rebentrost
Patrick Rebentrost’s research interests are in quantum computing, quantum algorithms, quantum machine learning, learning theory, and mathematical finance. He currently leads a project on “Computer science approaches to quantum computing for finance” supported by Singapore’s Quantum Engineering Programme. This project looks at how quantum computers can address computational challenges such as options pricing, portfolio optimisation and trading. He joined CQT in 2018 as a Senior Research Fellow, becoming a PI in 2022. His previous affiliations include Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Xanadu Quantum Technologies

IBM Quantum Ambassador WW Lead and Master Inventor, IBM Quantum
Robert Loredo
Robert Loredo is the IBM Quantum Ambassador worldwide lead, Qiskit Advocate, and Master Inventor with over 20 years of experience in the technical industry and holds over 220 patents. He has presented various workshops, lectures, and articles covering; artificial intelligence, finance, blockchain, bioinformatics, and quantum computing. His recent paper on mixed quantum-classical method for fraud detection with quantum feature selection presents a first end-to-end application of a Quantum Support Vector Machine (QSVM) algorithm for a classification problem in the financial payment industry using the IBM Safer Payments and IBM Quantum Computers via the Qiskit software stack.
He taught cloud computing and software engineering at the Florida International University School of Computer Science and holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami and is currently pursuing his PhD in Computer Science specializing in Quantum NeuroInformatics.

Advisory Research Scientist and IMB Quantum Technical Ambassador, IBM Quantum
Anupama Ray
Dr. Anupama Ray is an Advisory Research Scientist at IBM Research, India. She is an IBM Quantum Technical Ambassador and a Qiskit Advocate. She completed her Ph.D from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. Her doctoral research focused on developing and applying multi-dimensional deep recurrent neural networks for document analysis and computer vision applications. At IBM Research she has been predominantly working in the area of natural language processing: building NLP systems for low-resource languages, domain independent information extraction systems and natural language generation. She is currently working the area of Quantum Machine learning algorithms and applications. She has published several papers in top tier conferences and journals and has received several Best paper awards. She has been the recipient of the IEEE Best Woman Professional (Early Career) and Technology Rising Star award from WOC STEM awards. She received several awards at IBM Research such as Research Division Award, Eminence and Excellence Award and Outstanding Technical Achievement Award to name a few. She was nominated and selected as a Young Scientist in Global Young Scientist Summit and is an active member of IEEE, AAAI, and Society of Women Engineers (SWE) India.

Vishal Sharathchandra Bajpe
Vishal Bajpe is Quantum Developer Community Advocate at the IBM Quantum and Qiskit team with an avid interest on building and supporting IBM Quantum’s open source education building strategies and initiatives globally. Vishal joined the Quantum Community team in 2022 after finishing his engineering majors at university and is now part of the team on a mission to create and foster a vibrant, open, diverse, and inclusive global community with a focus on inspiring and involving the community members in explorations across various quantum computing and its related technology areas with Qiskit.

Siong Thye Goh
Siong Thye Goh is a senior scientist from the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), a research institute under Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR). Prior to joining IHPC, he was a research scientist with Singapore Management University’s School of Computing and Information Systems.
He works with QUBO solvers such as Digital Annealer and Alpha QUBO to solve optimization problems. Besides formulating problems into forms that are suitable to be solved by the mentioned solvers, he also studies how to enhance the quality of solvers and how to improve scalability.
His current research interests include researching on complexity theory and studying the performance of variational models.
His educational trajectory entails the conferment of a Ph.D. degree in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally, he is trained in mathematics. He has received an M.Sc in Mathematics and a B.Sc in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the National University of Singapore.

Julian Tan
Julian SK Tan is the AP leader for IBM Supply Chain Transformation org. He has a strong passion for harnessing AI and Industry 4 technologies in building Next-Gen Supply Chain capabilities, and best-in-class quality. Over the course of his career, he has held several technical and management leadership roles, such as, Semiconductor and Electronics technology qualification, Supplier Management, NPI, Crit-Sit and Quality Management. He is currently senior manager for the Supply Chain Transformation and Analytics team and is also IBM Singapore’s Quantum Business Dev Executive. ​

He was named the prestigious Global 2017 Frost & Sullivan (F&S) Visionary Leadership Award recipient, and 2018 F&S Transformation award for his work around artificial intelligence in the quality practice, which also contributed to IBM being named 2018 F&S Large Enterprise Manufacturer of the Year Award.
